I am not sure what you mean about turning geosets on and off, but there are several tools that can delete them, for example Magos' editor. And it is pretty easy to do in MDL editing too, but it takes some time to get the object ids (or whatever they are called in mdl, I don't really remember) correct after removing a geoset. Magos' editor can do it. |

www.oinkerwinkle.com Grab his VertexModifier Run it Open the .MDL of your choice It will prompt you to choose a geoset Edit-->Select All Delete Save Convert to MDX You're all done, no more geoset. If you want to ANIMATE it so a geoset appears and disapears, that is more difficult. |

DO NOT do what Tim. told you, no offence Tim. but if the model already uses geoset anims the model TOTALY gets fecked up, I had that about three times, had to start all over with the models. What you CAN do though, is delete almost the whole geosets, but leave only one face, then the geoset isn't really deleted but it looks like it and the model still works. The best ways to remove to remove geosets are with Magos' model editor or just editing the mdl yourself. |

Oh shit haha, forgot to mention that. Yes I always leave one very VERY small plane. Thanks for catching that. |

there are about 150 geosets and before knowing which are safe to delete i need to shut them off all the ones i think i will delete to see the ending result. each time i tried by randomly deleting and if no change resaving crap, in the end i have got different looks to my model. |

We do not support WoW model exporting, as you know. You should not leave such hints in your post :P Use 3dsMax instead, it makes the job much easier. |

I am unable to get a version of 3ds max that works with the art tools. I just need a way to turn geosets on/off and delete them in the same program. |

CTRL+Click to select a certain geoset, that should work with just a little skill. If not, then you will just have to not use illegal wow exports, which would be the best thing anyways. |
