Piercing arrow spell?

Hey,

Does anyone know if a piercing arrow similar to the one in Diablo II has been made? If not can someone explain to me how it could be made?

Description:

Once the arrow has been shot it should pierce through the hit enemy unit having a chance of hitting another unit if there is one behind the hit unit.

Atrillery - line attack type. (gryphon rider)

That, or carrion swarm with a low AoE. (carrion swarm lacks the terrain deformation)

I'd prefer not to use artillery since that creates a funky icon in the command bar and this is a player controlled hero. Gryphon rider? Isn't his attack a splash attack?

I dont know EXACTLY how it works on the gryph, as it requires an upgrade to work, but Artillery - Line is what your looking for. See how they do it on the gryphon rider.

The Gryphon Rider seems to use "Missile ( Line )"
I'm just wondering, This hero is a bowyer so I'm not very sure if this would work well for it?

I think that the upgrade may be a dummy upgrade (aside from switching the attack from attack 1 to attack 2, but that doesn't create the splash - it is already in attack 2).

I think so, but I can't check it. Missile (line) should work, with the right settings.

Well it is supposed to be a learnable hero ability but not something permanent :(

Hmmmm....change attack type upgrade anywhere, so you can change it from missile to missile (line), or have it as missile (line) normally and then use upgrades to increase the splash from 0? Otherwise you'll have trouble, unless you have no items like orbs which enable attack 2.
