I'm using channel as a dummy ability because I need to disable movement and attack for the hero while the script runs. Only I have 2 problems. 1) Targeting image (single unit) won't show in visible map area. Will show outside area, and can target anyway, but is too hard as you can't see the bulls-eye. 2) How do you set it up to turn off and script the de-activation? I'm at a loss. Please help! |

I believe the targetting image can be affected by the Race of the spell, or conflicts between some of the spell being set up to use an AoE cursor, then given a single target... Can you give us a screenshot of your spell in the Ability Editor? |

I figured the targeting part - if you select "Unit Target" for target type you can't select "Targeting Image" in options. I also figured that the "follow through time" is the duration of the ability freeze, but which order string do I set if I want to turn it off early? Deactivate, Turn Off or Base Order String (by level)? |

You can't alter those order strings. You may be able to simply order the unit to stop or hit it with a .01 stun effect to cancel it. |
