This is my WIP Model of a Young Tauren, iv been sculpting him with a biro pen :S, hes heads abit big cuz i ran out of the stuff to add more to hes body which is incomplete, i will have to wait till monday to get some more of that hard waxy play dough-like stuff(but its not play dough). i think its pronounced as plas-ta-scene. too ikky to spell.
Sorry about the photo, i cant find the digi cam so i had to use the webcam.
sorry about it looking bad.. im not a good sculpturer...especially with clay.

the new pictures are really blurry, but overall i get the idea that he is verry cartoony as opposed to badass due to a fairly large head.

usualy characters like that are build upon a wire skeleton wich also has a wire sticking out of the ass to make the model stand still. Did you first made a skeleton?

its got wires in the legs but not in the arm or head, cuz im a lazy cow and i have to get pretty much all my cake from school.
EDIT:
the wire i used is modeling wire, thick but bendy, strong but this bastards too dam heavy.

...it shouldn't be to heavy if you did it right.
Maybe you are just using really poor wire.

oh, and the general method is to make a layer of clay on the wire and on that to start modelling the muscles and on top of that to make the skin. did you do that?

Werewulf
yes, i did, and hes heads quite small for a tauren actually, instead of painting him i put fur on him and i had to pull of hes legs and rethink them, the wires junky, and the legs fell off twice, so ill leave that until i cover the top body with fur, i havnt combed the fur over yet so he looks fuzzy, mind you i gotta repaint and rework on hes face.

Also, ill be adding leather junk, like brazers rags and clotes and armour later so he doesnt look so drull.
anyway, these shot were from my bros comp.
