Cult of the Damned, a classic drama cinematic, has been restored at Wc3Campaigns today. Zurg, creator of Cult of the Damned, has added his cinematic series to our Cinematic Archive, and all five acts can be found here! This was truly one of the Warcraft III landmark projects, and I encourage everyone to watch it. |

Yay finally the CotD without wc3sear.ch's slowiness... It is truly a great cinematic, though I'm not a fan of voicing cinematics (it ussually turns bad, but not in this case). |

I disagree. I have seen cinematics where the voicing wasn't perfect, but I have always believed that it made the cinematic better and more alive in the end. But of course, that is a matter of taste. |

I agree with blade. Cinematics without voicing bore me quite quickly. |

Sorry but I will have to agree to disagree, afterall each individue has the right to its own taste. I know it is hard to track all the text, but IMHO no voicing is better than poor voicing. |

Sure you are allowed to have your own taste and opinion, but we are too, and that is why iNfraNe and I posted :). |

I feel the voice acting can add to the cinematic greatly, bringing a game cinematic to a much more professional level. Indeed it is also true, however, that if the voice acting is poor, does not blend with the background sound effects, or other parts of the cinematic, that a good cinematic can come out very poor. It all depends on the quality of the voice acting, and how it blends with the theme. |
