Reducing other damage types?

As we all know, abilities like Elune's Grace, Resistant/Hardened Skin, Defend, and Rune Bracer's effect all reduce some sort of damage taken from a certain damage type. As far as I've seen, only spell and piercing damage are the only changable things through abilities.

Has anyone found out of we could possibly reduce the damage of the OTHER attack types by percentage?

Tim.
Resitant Skin effects all attack types aside from Chaos, so I believe.

Hardened Skin reduces all physical damage. End of story.

Resistant Skin makes the unit with it completely immune to many spells, some of which that even Spell Immunity doesn't make immune to (like physical effects)

Elunes Grace reduces all RANGED attack damage, not Piercing. Same with Defend and the ability in the Arcanite Shield. if the unit does magic, normal or chaos damage, but is ranged, then it is reduced. If it does piercing but is melee, then it is not reduced.

I'm pretty sure it works on attack type. Especially since if it didn't human would completely tear apart NE in melee. Arcanite shield works on piercing damage only, as does defend (though that has a field for magic as well, I think).

This is unless they changed it recently.

Resistance skin basically makes the unit be affected by spells as if it is a hero.

Spiked Carapace can reduce all attacks (I think) by a %.

Yes, Elune's Grace and Defend work against piercing, not ranged attacks (they also have a field for magic damage reduction; don't know if it also affects spells). Resistant skin doesn't make the unit immune to spells, it just makes the spells use their hero-targeting-options; spells like entangle have a far shorter duration on heroes and units with resistant skin.

I don't think there's an ability that could specificaly reduce the damage of a certain damage type other than piercing and magic.

It would be nice if they would...

Guess I shouldn't dream and tell them?
