Hi all, I searched through the web looking for a good hero glow system (w/o involving WEU or mdx/mdl editing) and I realized that the best way should be using the vexorian's one; however ALL the links I've found are broken (for example this)... Can someone provide a link to that vexorian system or upload it? Thanks so much. |

No idea where it is; I tried to find it too, but couldn't, so I just made it myself. Here, have mine, no credit needed. The first is ripped from Jaina, the second is the same thing only double-sized with *drumroll* Excel. Easiest way to use them is make an ability based on Life Regeneration Aura (set the hit points regenerated to zero) or Item Capture the Flag or something, and set the Target Art to the glow model (and set attachment point origin). Then just give the ability to whatever units or buildings you want to glow right in the unit editor. Enjoy. |

Just change the point at which the glow is attached, in the ability. |

Unfortunately I don't have a chest glow, sorry. Try Panto's idea. |

"origin" is the origin attachment point. |

i realize this. i put in "origin" and nothing happened. i did everything i could find to do, but it wont attach to my heroes for some reason. its driving me frickin nuts. |

Attachment point 1 = origin Target Art = (your glow model) Number of Attachments point = 1 Give the ability to ur unit ??? It MUST work. |

hmnn that file is way too big considering it is a zip. I should get the glow pack up one of these days. The best way is to use tornado slow aura actually. One of the patches made some abilities change the fx's team color properly. In the first versions of wc3 you needed triggers to do the trick, that was awful. |
