High-Res Doodad Pack & Expansion

Overview:

As some of you might already be aware, I've left the maps and mod business. My former project, "Aventurien - Die Erzkriege" (Better known in German communities) has been canceled.

Over the course of my project I made a vast resource base in order to replace the normal Warcraft III doodads, tiles, etc. Now that the project has been discontinued, I would like to offer it to the Warcraft III community.

This pack contains over 145 medieval models with many high resolution textures and over 10 new high-res tiles. I've made everything from plants to buildings to trees, even an apple! This pack contains everything you need to make Warcraft III look like nothing before! I've devoted nearly two years to the project, and at least seven hundred hours. My only hope is that they can be used effectively across the community.

You have two options at your disposal:

A) You can just download the zip archive below and use whichever specific model(s) or texture(s) you like. I think that is pretty self explanatory.

B) You can download this map file with all the resources in it (Except unused ones like extra mip-maps and unneeded dialogue sounds, hence why there is such a small fillsize.). The resources are already assigned to their specified paths, and linked with doodads with the English names. Thanks to [Death] for creating this map for me! (Does not contain one of the rock tiles (Lords_Rock.blp) and the scarecrow (Uebungspuppe.mdx) due to errors.)

All I ask is that you do not redistribute either of these files elsewhere; especially Wc3Sear.ch. I have given permission to Wc3Campaigns to host these files for me and they should remain here.

Updates:

I have now released an expansion pack for my popular High-Res scenery pack. The models included are of the same style and quality as the original pack, and so fit perfectly with the other models. Some even use the same textures, to reduce file size! (The textures are included in both the original and the expansion packs, but you only need the texture imported into your map/mpq once.) Also, I have released an exclusive Wc3Campaigns update pack containing even more models. I hope someone will put these models to good use!

Aventurien was one of the best projects i have ever seen, I am a bit sad now. But also a bit happy, lets see what other talented guys make out of your pack.

If a Warcraft III model has 2,000 polygons in it, it must be pretty damn detailed. Born, GREAT job!! I am not a terrainer or cinematic guy, and I'm VERY happy!!
