The upgrade center has only 4 upgrades. I would like to include more if you guys want them. Please vote on the upgrades that you like. Also, please feel free to brainstorm new upgrades and I will add them to the poll. You may also post suggestions on how to modify the ones currently in the poll. |

wisp attack sounds like it would suck, but depending on the abilitys mana bonus could b fun, wisps DEFINETLY need better anticamp spells, and the noobs that always join NEVER use the wisp spells, maybe a flashing red message that sez "USE YOUR FUCKING SPELLS WITH YOUR WISP!" or something, maybe longer range sleep, sight range would also b cool, maybe new buildings, maybe not... |

Hey guys, I really need brainstorming here. I got the new fish and the new items down so all I need is brainstorming on the new naga, brainstorming here and some help with the game modes and 2.7 is going to kick ass! |

Hmm, upgrades upgrades. OH! how bout an upgrade that decreases the build time of your buildings by 1 second for each of 3 levels. |
| 05-18-2006, 07:27 AM | #5 |
Dunno if thats possible to do. If it is, sounds like a good idea. |
| 05-18-2006, 07:35 AM | #6 |
You'd need to create duplicates of the buildings that are built 1 second faster. |

Bah, there goes that idea. |

How about fish speed\attack increases? Or prehaps a big upgrade that allows you to access a special shop and buy some units or something. |

Well movespeed is already in the form of Boots of Speed item. Attack speed would be ok for the atking Fish but worthless for the other ones. Third idea could be money though. |

No I'm sure I saw a trigger that changes the build time. (least I think I did). I'll go check it out. Oh, ya nm you can only affect the status of a building that is currently under construction, can't do it for all buildings unless you wanted to make an event that would trigger every time a building started construction and set to 10% per level if the player had that upgrade. I suppose it could work but it only works by percentages, not actual seconds. |

Hmm, brainstorming these is a lot tougher then I thought. |

I only came up with this idea cuz i HATE IT when i miss click and get the wrong fish. There could be an upgrade for repicking.(or u could just to something so u can type -repick) Also u could make your fishes spells cooldown less or improve the power of them. I just like stuff thats invisable so the shop research thing could allow u to buy a gem of insight allowing u to find the shop.(maybe also make it useable to ping shops location?) |

fish specific upgrades: NOTE: PROBABLY NOT BALANCED! (these ideas will need lots of balancing) wizard woukld get lopwer cooldowns, maybe some speed, or more spells (maybe a spellbook ability with things like reveal and little abilitys like that, maybe a heal building spell), murloc would get super armor like turtle but only at night level 2 maybe some day move speed and level 3 maybe... reduced ability cools? dragon: either reduced cool or increased speed or maybe at max level this one would get him land spell immunity turtle: either armor move speed or reduced cool.... or a combination of the 3 (either a little of each per level or 1 per level) O! i no, at max level it would reveal anyplace he teleports with a rly big reveal or something water elemental: speed, possibly cooldown, maybe not land elemental: armor? another spell? jungle beast: less slippage and/or more speed |

This would take A LONG time to implement. I would have to create dozens of upgrades and use triggers to connect them. I like the idea, just a lot of work. Let us brainstorm easier to implement things. |

Perhaps an Economy upgrade? Basically, each time you upgrade it, you get a % bonus to your current bank income (like 10/20/30%). So assuming you are making 100 gold per tick, and have the 30% upgrade, you would make 130 gold per tick. This would be balanced by the cost of the upgrade, since it will take time to make up for the money you already spent before you see any profit from it. Over the course of a game, especially if you manage to hide a bunch of banks, it can really add up and help you recover more quickly after a capture. |
