Overview:

This program allows you to view, export and convert nearly every texture in Warcraft III (RoC & TFT).

Includes:
  • Can open both RoC and TFT MPQ files.
  • Can open single images.
  • Can convert/export BLP files to JPG, TGA to BLP
  • Has Treeview and Listview for easy searching.

Installation and usage:

There is no installation for the WC3 Image Exporter; simply unzip the .zip onto your computer and run the .exe file. All necessary files should be included. In order to view the TFT textures you must open the War3x.mpq file from your Warcraft III folder.

Please read our Rules, large images must be kept within [thumbnail] tags not [img] tags. I edited your post for you.

We need ijl15.dll from the Warcraft
III directory. (same as above)

We need Visual Basic Dll files
(search the internet :P)

We need 32Bit colors! (maybe 24Bit will do)
Check your desktop resolution and
color depth!

I'm getting the same error, Searched the WC3 folder, then searched all of C drive, no such file, and there is no such file in the .zip either.

Right, so "We need Visual Basic Dll files". and what does that mean? aside from having to download ... what exactly?

Edit: I found out what the problem was and how to fix it. Thanks for the help.

The answer is at majorgeeks.com

mhmh, I still get the same error
"This application has encountered a critical error:

The file data is corrupt.

Program: (ProgramPath)\Wc3 Image Extractor II.exe
File: (file)"
although I updated mit storm.dll and my ijl15.dll and although I re-downloaded the program several times from different sites.
Google couldn't help me too, and Wc3 viewer doesn't display my .blp, but other programs do....
btw a function for the BLPaletter would be giving a .blp file as source file too...

Opps sorry, the question I wanted answers to was already answered so instead...

This program's pretty good and useful when I can get it to work!
