anyway, the outlines is going the right way, but your shading is a bit too gritty, pixly.

Yah but the grittyness kinda makes it have that bone texture more, but I guess some parts could be cut down to less grittyness

Probably smooth out when I knock it down to 256x256.

I kinda like the style whitey but please please get rid of that pink!

Its hard to believe people actually think the pink is an intentional part of the texture!

It's the canvas background. It will be transparent. It's easier to see what's been erased.

Btw is the rest of the skin going to be in this same color scheme or maybe something a little darker?

I started by painting a green undercoat and worked colours onto it. It's more of a muddy red now though.

One problem though, do you see this area here?



The wrapping of the model is magnifying the area under his eyes, and since you've put some sort of indentation there, (to make it look like bone I suppose) that area is what's looking like eyes.

It's not visible farther away from the model, but in portrait shots however, there might be a problem.

Other then that, it's coming along well.
