Do you like to mass towers that hurt Naga? Perhaps you like to simply mass a lot of Coral fortifications and upgrade them? Or, do you like getting items and killing Naga with them? Finally, is it possible that you like to just hide in a corner? Lets hear what you do as a Fish! |

Heh I kind of do a combination of all of those strategies. At the beginnign of the game I run around massing fortifications (but not upgrading them) in all the areas that would cut off a chase. Once I have 250 gold i find a hidden area to build a level 4 gold bank in and do so. then gradually increase them to 4 spread out around the map. After that I attempt to get a base going and mass gold banks. Then i build an upgrade center and a shop, and start to mass towers with auras. My tower setup is a mix evenly between feedbacks slows and corruption towers as i find that to be the best combination of incapacitation and damage. (i'll upgrade and buy items somewhere during this time) If I'm caught I start all this over again. The hiding in a corner tactic only comes into play if i need to afk. and i have yet to be caught while doing that. but thats never any fun and eventually a naga tracer would do you in. |

I dont really like the idea of camping a base with towers (i mustve said that to you a hundred times now! :D). So id say i go for the "Get items" gameplay. When i build up my defense, i usually dont build it to last an attack. I instead build it to have an easy escape way if im attacked. That means i try to have as many exits from the base as possible. A mistake alot of new players do is that they search for a spot with only one entrence and think its a good spot to defend themselves. But i believe the best strategy in tropical tag is to SPREAD OUT your bases and towers. So when im attacked, i just run to a new spot and start building. I often hide income banks over the map to get enough income for the item shop. The good thing is that the items stay when i switch base. |

Heh I'm not much of a tower guy either. but I feel left out when I don't spend my gold on something. I think I'll try massing invis towers once i get my income up that should be fun. Meh mass invis towers arent all that great unless there's no crushers or witches. |

Now that there are land mines, my new strategy is to blow some Naga up!@ |

heh that's always fun. But I'm trying a new strat that involves strategic placement of sentry towers. wonder how often I'll have to rebuild. |

Invis towers around the map is good for keeping tabs on everyone. What about land mines though, feel that a limit of 4 is ok? My concern was if there wasn't a limit then a Fish could place like 10 in the same area and completly annilhate Naga. |

then thats the Naga's stupid fault for letting them be alive long enough to put down that many mines. |

Heh the limit is fine. It just causes the fish to place them strategically such as at chokepoints into their base. or slightly outside of the middle to tag nagas trying to stop a rescue. and so far my sentry aura strat works wonders. Near the end of the game, it's like having maphack without cheating. Also anyone with the teleport item (except me) can teleport to any of the towers on the map for an escape. of course seeing as mines never run out. it might be useful to have a destroy button like on the buildings in case the spot you placed them in is no longer a likely spot for the naga to go. |

You can attack your own mines to kill them. |

but its not very easy, also make them magic resistant or something, maybe just a destroy button like bildings |

I think they are magic resistant atm, but I might change that. I feel that Naga spells SHOULD hurt them because otherwise Naga have no way of getting past them without dying? |

well not IMMUNE just resistant, so any 2 spells or 5 seconds of a channeling spell or a level 3 spell would kill em, but they r still a signifigant obstacle |

hmm ok ill give them 200 hp and make them vulnerable to spells. Would take two lvl 2 spells or 1 lvl 3 to kill them. |

destroy button? |
