Naga Gameplay Style

How do you play Naga? Do you shoot straight for the fun items like Blink and Fish Hook? Do you get early game boosting items like Claws f Attack or Gloves of Haste? Or, do you try and simply be a teamplayer by getting Sentries, Stasis and perhaps Aura Horn?

Let me know!

Ok I have several strategies for naga.

First off I'm usually the witch so I use reveal to scout out all the major bases. Then i use naga tracer to track down my first fish and get a nice exp boost.

My money always goes to either an aura horn if i find myself consistently low on mana, or if thats not a problem, then I go for the immolation cloak for an extra gold boost (killing buildings faster is always a good thing)

After i have the cloak I go for sentry wards (this is usually about 10 minutes into the game as before that I dont care about rescues)

If I could get all four naga to set up sentries around the middle it would be far too difficult to get a rescue going. luckily for the fish that's never happened.

Heh one game I was playing with as the fish (actually 2 games in a row after which i vowed not to let any of those players to play with me again) 1 naga camped the middle at the beginning, and then it gradually increased to 3 as the number of fish to be found decreased. Well with 3 naga in the middle it didnt matter how well we used our spirit abilities, It was impossible to get a rescue. And the few fish that were left were found with the naga tracer and despite our slowing and empowering efforts, were still caught.

Conclusion: camping doesnt make for a fun game. Though one camping naga can be dealt with. any more than that and it becomes impossible to rescue any fish.

ya, definetly better spirit abilitys, like an anti-naga spell that looks and acts like flamestrike but with really long range and no cooldown, long delay b4 it starts casting, then it kills (or does insane damage) to naga, which would prevent campers and buffed reveal for spirirts

Well there is something like that for Wisp now. 500 damage over 2.5 sec, 2 sec casting time, 60 sec CD and mapwide cast range.

Also, that Spiritual Upgrade now actually reduces the CD of Sleep, Reveal and this new spell as well.
