Slight Problem

Okee, I'm making a Helm's Deep map, based both the book (The Lord of the Rings) and the movie. I've added the big wall, but the orcs need latters to get over the big wall. So, I went and extracted an image from the war3.mpq file and edited the weapon rack to make it look like a latter. I then changed it into a .blp and used WarZip to go into war3.mpq again and put it in there. Everything's great, the new latter is in the mpq, it shows up on both Image Extractor and MPQ Viewer thing, but it doesn't show up in WarEdit. emote_sweat

Anything I can do to solve this little problem?

You're supposed to put it in the MAP not the MPQ.

I think it would work if you tried just modifying an existing doodad instead of making a new one.

Did you put it in the right directory?
Btw, if you alter war3.mpq, you risk desync errors in b-net. Better to implant into war3patch.mpq, and make a backup copy first which you can switch in and out of your warcraft directory as needed. And as fear.factor said, for other people to use the texture, you have to put it in the map (*after* saving in WE). Btw, I don't know for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if directories and file names were case sensitive. Double check that too.
