A cinematic that didnt fit to the rules was cut in the content score, thus leaving such low scores there.

In RulerofIron's map i noticed a text message telling me to disable ambient sounds. That can also be done with a simple trigger. I've made a JASS function for that quite some time ago: http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=JASS&ID=219

Might also be a useful addition to the cinematic system. I know the Cinematic System disables the currently played ambient sound at init, but it doesn't take care of the restart at dusk/dawn.

On a last note, I think all participants did a good job :)

Woo, 5.5 for 6 hours of work over a whim that didn't even comply with the rules.

double the required length and 100 times the required amount of fighters and no use of jass: obviously i wont win. i hope everybody enjoyed my cinematic though!

so when's the next contest?

Perhaps soon, perhaps not soon :) I'll see when I come up with a good idea for the next contest (I think we've had our share of battle contests now)

i'll attempt to participate no matter what kind of cine contest it is, but if its a stroy one i'll get 0/10 or less :P

btw thx infrane and anitarf for taking your time to make this contest and judge the maps.

Some thoughts:
pheonix's cine was underrated
bob27's cine was too big

If there's another contest, I'd suggest a comedy. So far, the cinematics I've enjoyed the most have been comedies, and I'm sure a contest would result in a lot of great stuff. Also, they're easier =p
