I want an image over the minimap when you're in the player-gathering room or whatever.... How to do it and what size?

Must be something I'm doing wrong... I got a 128x128 .tga picture, i saved it twice as "wc3.tga" and "war3mapPreview.tga" and tried importing both (one at a time) and neither worked... (Yes I changed the path).

Maybe give us some details, then?

A "help plz?" is useless, since you have already been told the solution to your problem. If you still can't get it to work and need more help, attach the image and the map.

I just want to know if there's some thing (obvious or not so obvious) that the guy in the tutorial has forgot to mention?

Obviously something doesn't add up.

Bump.

It works *perfect* for me when I import it to a map and change the path to "war3mapPreview.tga" without the "war3mapImported\" that automatically is added. You must be doing something wrong.

I go to the Import Manager, Import File, select the file... double-click the file, Use Custom Path, and change it to "war3mapPreview.tga" ...

Shouldn't that do the trick?

Do you have to save the picture at some specific location before importing it? Like in the wc3 folder? Or can you just put it straight into C: and then import and it still should work?

No, you can import it from everywhere. Since it works perfect for me, I wonder if it can be the fault of your graphic card and settings not allowing the image to show up, but that is just a guess. I can attach a demo map where it is working, if you want.
