Industrial UI

Well, my first UI, which will be used in an upcoming map...i hope(that is if i can find a way past my lazy intentions). Anyway, it's supposed to look industrialized, rough, metalic, etc. well please tell me what you think.

Hate the caution Tape and also the textures are alittle plain

its just supposed to be brushed metal. and about the caution tape, i didnt want to put it there either BUT i had to cover up the big black bars all around the UI because you cant get rid of them...

The caution tape RUINS this GUI.. and IMO you should make the metal have rust and stains on it. 4/10 =(

Perhaps reduce the caution tape to simple black and yellow diagonal stripes?

>>>>.<<<< did you read at all what i said about the caution tape craka_j 123 i DIDN'T want to have to put it there but i had to cover up the big black bars that show up because of wc3 and its rendering capabilities i tried to whole diagonal black and yellow line thing and after getting it all done my photoshop crashed...so i was just like F*ck it! i might look into that whole rust idea though that sounds like a good idea ^^ also i dont know if you can see them but you can ingame there are bulletholes on the middle part of the UI above place with all the unit's stats.

make it anyway, you should have saved backups.

Try making the metal darker with light variation and some grime or rust, make the wires darker, thicker and less cartoony, drop the tape for a dark yellow stripe with angled black ones on it, and give everything some slightly more defined borders. That's my view on it

I like it but its a little too...flat.

I would like it, if you stfu and stopped necromancing old threads.
