this is a huge improvment compared to how you used to collor, good job.

the base picture sucks ass though. Why the hell did he post that abomination? -_-

Anyway, the coloring is coming along better indeed. Try and define a lightsource better though.

he still colors badly, but a lot better then before. At the rate hes improving, he'll color quite well within a couple of months.

and use the background colors for the base shading (then blend it)
