They need to be 64x64 and have an disabled version.

You need correct filepath and to ensure you have all the modes covered - which depends on how you are using the icon.

Common example:

ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTN<name>.blp
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTN<name>.blp

Yes, I also did this but still green
Some icons work and others don't.

1st: I get the icon..and modifie wha't I want.
2nd: I change the name of "image" by "BTN<name>.blp" and another "image" with name of "DISBTN<name>.blp".
3rd: After I go to the editor and import this 2 files and change the flepath right you discribe above.
4th: Now I go to the Object Editor>>Abilities or Units or Items>>Chage the Art - Interface icon or Art - Icon to the file above imported and test.

Right?If right I don't know the problem

Other question what the diference of Import and Custom when you choosing the icon and what is correct?
I try to make icons for itens if help something

After you import the icons you have to exit Import Manager, save, and then go to Object Editer.
