For a project id like to convert many WoW models, but since they do not have attachment point, or they do not work, im asking here for some good solution!

I tried and tried, searched the forums and came up with a working overhead attachmentpoint, but after i wanted to edit one of the four (!!!) hand left attachmentpoints the .mdl went crazy and wasnt able to be converted to .mdx again....

halp plz....

The character models have attachment points, just for your information

Probably it's the Model Editor wnich is cousing the problem, not the fact that it is a WoW export. If you are using Magos's Model Editor be warn that it screws up attachement points when saving in .mdx file.

The solution is simple: edit model in MME and save as .mdl. Later on just convert to .mdx using Yobgul's War3FileConverter. Should work fine I think.

What program you use for conversion?
For example, MdlVis up to version 1.34 damaged attachments in characters models and did not convert WoW-particles.
