Hiding Units on Minimap

I'd like to know if either of these is possible:

Ideally, if it is possible in any way to make a unit NOT show up on the minimap whatsoever.

If that cannot be done, is there any way to make a unit appear as a different color on the minimap? I'm trying to make it so it's impossible to tell who a unit belongs to (changing the unit's color and making all player names the same is easy... but the color on the minimap gives it away!)
Any ideas?

You can do both *only* in object editor. You can't do it dynamically but you can change the color and whether to be visibile on the minimap in object editor.

Are you refering to Stats- Hide Minimap Display?

It's already set to False for the units that are being used... and yet during our last test, they all showed up on the minimap anyway. We never noticed this during previous games (but we never really paid that much attention) so could it just have been a one time fluke error or something?

Tim.
Stats - Hide Minimap Display == True

If that is set up, then you should have no problems.

Err yeah, I meant to say False in my previous post.... Hehe...
I had it set to False but they showed up anyway during ONE of the tests... I don't know why, it just happened. There was also a desync during that test so almost everyone disconnected. Maybe that's related to why it didn't work right that time.

??? You must set it to TRUE because you want to hide it ;)

Of course their showing up. "Hide Minimap Display = False" means DON'T hide the minimap display. Sheesh.

I must be dyslexic or something. Replace all instances of the word "False" in my previous posts to "True"
I meant to say that I already had that field set to True (and then I meant to correct myself but somehow slipped up AGAIN)

I most definatly had the fields set to True, and yet in one of the tests, the units were appearing on the minimap. This only happened once, but I'm wonderring if anyone else has ever experienced a similar problem? It technically shouldn't be possible to even change this during the game, so it was probably just a technical error in the program that had nothing to do with my map (and may have also caused the desync), but if there is any possibility that a trigger could have made them show up... I want to squash it :O

Tim.
Think about the question you're asking. If we all refer to the value as absolute, and it failed once, then what do you think? It's a technical glitch out of your control.
