Beta testers needed for Atlanis TD

I am planning on a beta test of my tower defense Map after much work it is ready to be tested by others.

I will need atleast 6 people to test my map.

I will begin the beta testing at 4pm unless something hinders the testing.

The following things will be tested.
- Kick voting system
-Favorabillity of the Cinematics
- Level toughness, Just a side note: the first 12 levels will be very easy. These are meant to be that way so players get enough gold to upgrade.
- Uniqueness of the terrain
- lack of lag
- Whether or not towers shoud be limited.

I will save all replays of the beta testing so Any comments will need to be said in game.

Someone will need to take the kick fall for the first test.

If you want to test my new map then post a reply.

If thats not possible then join channel Ancient Kingdom in the Eastern Server

New beta test scheduled for 10:15pm eastern standard time.

some issues repaired after last beta test.

I am looking forward to a better turnout than last time.
Only 2 friends joined the last beta test.

Kick system not tested

Lack of lag - 100% no lag experienced during the beta test 1

Also; you are listing the things that needs to be tested, but what features of your map are special? What would make this map exciting to test in the first place? What's different from the others?..

Ok then well I'm officially posting for a beta test at 6:00pm Thursday Eastern Standard Time.

If you are interested in beta testing my Tower Defense map I will be in the channel Ancient Kingdom on the eastern server At 5:00pm sharp.


As a few people know I have been working on this map for quite some time and I need people to test it to see if it is balanced enough.

The main features of this map are the aesthetically pleasing terrain, The keep out system, The toughness of the levels and the entertaining cinematics. This is a team based game and only pros can win this map, You need atleast a fullhouse to be able to beat this map. The best part is that this is cheat free.

That doesn't sound like a great map. None of those 'features' are unique, and most have been standard on TDs for a long time.

Agreed, and people who play TD's generally are playing for the power trip of slaughtering units by the tens, not for cinematics between levels. You need to look at the audience you are catering to when designing a map.

There will always be critics, its hard to explain a map to an audience that feels that a TD should be nothing but gutless slaughtering, Yes that is the main part of tower defense maps but the true thing that will always make a tower defense map great is the addictabillity of it. If a person finds the map to be challenging and fun then the fun of the slaughter becomes meaningless to the fun of facing the challenge head on to reach the ultimate goal of the victory.

Yet as ironic as it is the victory becomes as meaningless as the slaughter. Those who have read thy cover should not judge thy map until they test it.

Good jesus. Please learn some grammar and punctuation! Please don't use "thy" in that paraphrase either.

Don't use thy unless you know how to use it. Also, I can judge a book very well by its cover, so why not a map by its description?

Anyway, almost all TDs are impossible to complete. So how is yours being difficult a selling point? If you want to get people to play a map, it has to have something that sets it apart, especially in something as overdone as TDs.

ok then I will do something that I have not seen in a tower defense map to date. I will not announce it yet not until my planned rpg is complete.

Also for all of you people criticizing my map understand that this tower defense is my first map created.

Not that I don't appreciate your helpful criticisms

i've put the tower defense map on hold, even though It could probably be released right now, once I've completed the rpg and intitute the unique thing I plan to institute then ill release the td.
