Convince me!

Hi there, ive been reading about modding on this and other forums for a while, and i have some idea's i would like to see realised.
Now dont worry i'm not ganna ask people to make it for me .

I just cant get myself to start on an idea. so i was hoping u guys could convince me!

To do so i got some questions (u can just answer wit YES or NO):

Can i ...

1) ... create a character controlable - jump/run/kick/punch/etc.. ?
2) ... create NPC's that qive quests ?
3) ... link maps (move from one map and back but without reseting the map! so the quests dont come back) ?
4) ... create armor, weapons, items that drop from mobs ?
5) ... create bags for items ?
6) ... create (flying)mounts for faster travel ?
7) ... create respawn mobs ?
8) ... create puzzles to solve ?
9) ... difrent classes to chose from in the beginning ?

Well i bet i got some more, but i cant remeber them all.
Feel free to give me reasons why i should make a mod or why u like making one! what got u started? etc...

Since you dont know, I'd guess no. But with help or more learning, I think yes.

You can't do 3 in multiplayer very well; you would need to recreate the game and reload your game every time you switch maps, which would be a real pain. What you can do instead of separate maps is just do one huge map with a bunch of tilesets on it. You can have people save and load their individual characters (optionally with the quests they've completed) using codes, and have it work multiplayer.

Everything else, yes. In fact, many of these are already done for you; you can download pre-made systems from the resources section for 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9 (and savecodes for 3).

You can also buy WoW and play it.

That was totally pointless.

I would say yes to all, too. Most of them are really easy to do (except for 1 and 3).
