Guest | hi all, Thanks in advance for the help. I am creating a scenario with new Hero's etc. I have the Hero's built and they work. I want to assign them to be buyable through a shop. I have assigned them to the shop, set the MaxStock, Starting Stock etc. Everything is fine except the units always say "Out of Stock" and are never buyable. I am doing this through the War3patch and War3 MPQ files and not with the map editor. Does anyone have any insight? I have already set everything I can find, but I am obviously missing something. Guest | That way I don't have to futz with 40 different maps and the change is permanent. Yes, yes, De-synch etc. I understand all that. I am just stuck on this one issue... Thanks!!! Daytrannno Spare the rod, spoil the rm -r I always say. |

You have to do it in the map. The restock times set in the w3m override the restock times in the MPQ during the loading process. There really is no reason to edit the MPQ for such a simple problem. |

Guest | Hey guys, Thanks for the response. I don't think you have to do it in the map. Here is the reason: There are default starting points, which means they are defined in the MPQ files. The MPQ files define Stock Start, Stock Max, and Stock Regen. All values are set to non-negative or null values, meaning it should work. I can manipulate other items, however some items I cannot. Any Ideas where to check? Daytranno Spare the rod, spoil the rm -r I always say. |
