Triggers in messages

Ok, this is probably the most noobish question of all time... But how do you put triggers into messages you post on WC3C? I need to show somebody my trigger so he can check to see if it's correct but I haven't a clue how. All I could figure out was the how to put trigger tags in the text.

in the WE in the little box where all the GUI for a trigger goes click on the little page icon where it sais your trigger name and right click and select copy as text. than come over here and click the little gearlike thing to put the trigger tags in than just paste in the text
