Is it possible to load up 2 editors at once?

Just so when I am trying to re-create a map and have my previous map to look back upon can I have 2 editors loaded at the same time and possibly copy and paste between the 2?

It is possible to have two editors open simultaneously (there is some small loader thing to do it), but you can't copy and paste between them. Something about WE having an internal clipboard.

Eh not too big a deal, mainly concerned with just being able to browse back n forth when I am re-created...

How can I do this though? what do I need?

you can have 2 maps open in 1 editor and then switch through the window menu.
you can also export all custom data from one map and import it to another, but it would remove any custom data that map had before.

Eh you can have two maps open? Not really because switching back n forth takes around 10-15 seconds... I want to be able to have 2 maps open at exactly the same time that I can instantly switch between, as I am trying to re-create the map I need to switch back n forth constantly, which adds up a lot, 20-30 seconds over 30 times translates to a lot of lost time... I want to be able to switch back n forth instantly without any delay, hence the need to have two editors and two maps open, how can I do this?

Ok, now can someone please just tell me in simple form how I can simply just load up 2 warcraft 3 map editors...

You need to hack the editor so that it doesn't check for an existing mutext which it uses to make sure only one instance of the application is running.

I believe you can also use zephir's editor and open WE at the same time. That would be most simple.

Otherwise like xttocs said you have to hack the editor.

The ability to have 2 editors at once is probably the most worthless and unneeded thing you can add to world editor
