In the HeroQuest beta I was playing recently, they had way more than 12 variations from a variety of tilesets (Including barrens, cityscape, lordareon summer and maybe a few others). How do I do this? I tried using 'W3Z map edit' because that allows me to change the starting terrain, but as soon as I open it in regular world edit, it removes all of the extra stuff that's not from the base terrain set. ...help? emote_sweat |

Sorry, your best hope would be to change some of the tile pics around, that way one tile would be 2 different tiles. This would mean that you couldnt do it random, but if your willing to do this ill explain more. And you can try zepir edit, it lets you add 12 total, not counting the amount and all that other stuff normally counted. |

Guest | so basically what you're saying is to edit the terrain file so some of the random variations are a different terrain, and then sit there and click til you get it right? Interesting. |

Yea, it gets boring, but it opens it way up. Just less tile variations for that tile, so dont use more than 2 for a tile. |

Thanks for the help, I actually figured this a while ago though ^^". Turns out the map that confused me just had very efficient use of the custom tileset, so it looked like he had barrens, ashenvale, and lordareon summer. Thanks anyway. |
