I just finished the creating of my map, but when i started to test with multiple people i found out that it splits. So i serched the forums if i find anything that might help, but didnt find anyone with the same problem. My problem is that whenever there are like 15+ neutral hostile creeps on my map the game splits. When there are no creeps, no split. I also tried to spawn the units with trigger but it also caused split. I havent changed the creeps, only gave them ancient classification(for a spell reason). PS: the problem cant be with the trigger, i used only gui, and it worked with triggers when there were no creeps. If it helps i upload my map but its hungarian, so u wont understand texts. thx for any help in advance. |

There are a couple of units in WC:TFT that can cause server splits and are only meant for single player maps and that may be your problem, try using different units and see if your map still splits. If your map does not split after the change but you feel that you still want the units that were causing the split then make custom units and just apply the model of the units you want and you won't have to worry about splits anymore. Note: it would be recommended that you use the original model of the unit that did not create to split as a base when you are recreating the unit that did cause the split. So that you will have no worries, other than that I do not know why your map is splitting. |

Out of curiousity, do the creeps still cause a split when they're not Ancient classification? Also, what triggers do you run that pertain to the creeps? At what point during play does the map split? |

all the creeps are RoC (ashenvale and lordaeron summer) Creeps did cause it when they had no classification. There are 2 triggers for creeps, 1 is for respawn and now 1 is for spawn. when i put down the creeps in the editor the split happened in the first 3 secs, when i used trigger its at that time when the trigger activated Ill try to find out which creep could be the reason 1 by 1... EDIT: it was my faultt, i was just informed today that the reason might be that i tested it on private server (yeah im a baaad guy, but all my friends here so...=() i just tested on bnet with 3 players, it was alright. Next time ill look into it more before posting. Sorry=( |
