Minas Tirith Hero Siege

Someone mentioned something about how they would like a good LoTR hero siege, and that set my mind off, and, liking LoTR (lovely lore and characters, great films, etc.), I decided to start to plan it.

Here's the idea:

The map will go in several stages, with the humans retreating each time before they get overrun and slaughtered. The longer they hold out in each stage, the easier the end is.

Stage 1 - Osgiliath; powerful phalanx blocking off the bridge with archer support, orcs in boats attempt to flank it.
Stage 2 - Fields of Pellenor; open field of conflict, with mumakills, cavalry, etc.
Stage 3 - Walls of Minas Tirith; attack upon the walls and gates of the White City.
Stage 4 - Last Stand; moving up the layers of the city, with spawns moving up.

Features:

- New advanced combat system.
- Fast gameplay.
- Balance (no tomes, etc.).
- Quality map (custom abilities, etc.).

What does everyone else think about it? Work in progress map at the moment, with only an hour or so of work. Abilities place holders.

Always waiting for something like this, if u need terraining help, u know :).

Will this include custom models for minas tirith bulding, walls?

Terraining I'm okay at, but at some point I might need some help with it (adding that special something which us people with zilch artistic touch can't).

Probably for the buildings I'll have custom models, but I don't see much point for the walls (though stacking walls is starting to get annoying; anyone know if you copy doodads heights across?).

Sounds interesting. I've played a lot of LotR maps, but many, and I mean many were crappy!
What about the caracters, their abilities, items, upgrades?
