about the Win. rar

nightre	can someone help me, i don't know what to do, i downloaded hero rpg. and i have no idea what to do after i get the file onto the WinRAR program. i have the program, and i don't know what to do in it.

You're kidding me, right? I recommend you uninstall the program and hang your head in shame. You are too stupid to operate WinRAR.

If you insist on persisting, though, you're going to need to explain exactly where you're stuck. Do you not understand that to get the file out of the archive you must extract it? Are you unaware that the map must be in your maps directory in WC3? Did you even install WinRAR or are you trying to drag it onto the installer?

i already have it in the program, i just don't know where to extract it to

Vexorian	try a temp folder called herorpg if the contents need to be on a specific folder then it should have a readme file explaining where to move them

Vexorian	Then try the other files, if one is an exe then that would probably run the mod To help more I would have to download that thing and that takes time

Shiv	Just extract with folder names/paths/whatever and see what it puts forth. You should be determine where to put it into your WC3 directory from there.

Blade.dk	Shiv, please do not post comments like 'Hang your head in shame', it is flaming and in no way helpful. nightre, do not double post. Your Wc3 directory is most likely C:\Program Files\Warcraft III, or something like that. If you can't get the program to work, I believe it has an online manual. I suggest reading that.

Anitarf	The HeroRPG is a campaign file, and should be extracted into your campaigns folder inside the warcraft III folder. The later has to be somewhere on your hard drive, you really should be able to find this sort of stuff there, after all, you installed the game, and if not, the windows explorer has a search function.
