Unicode and Warcraft III

Is it possible to use unicode in the jass editor in non english versions of Warcraft III? Where is unicode used in World Editor?

afaik it always uses UTF8

I tried pasting some UTF-8 coded data into the jass editor, but it just showed the ASCII codes. My WE uses single byte characters in the jass editor atleast.
