Need models about the lord of the rings

Hi, if you have models that are already done about the lord of the rings (rohirrim knights, uruk-hais, olog-hais, anything) please, tell me where can I download them, etc, or if you have made a model for the LOTR and you want to share it, just send me a PM and I give you my mail so you can send me the model.

I am making a map about the LOTR and I need many models that I haven't found in www.wc3sear.ch nor in this webpage.


So that's all, if you know some other webpage where I can download models, or you have some model you want to share, etc, please, any information will be welcome :)


And by the way... I saw a map called "The Ringswar", and it had some pretty models, but I couldn't open teh map editor because there was some kind of ERROR when I did it. So I couldn't export those models to my map. If someone knows where can I download those models (there was a Legolas one, another for a mounted archer, dol amroth knights, etc), so please, tell me.

The error you received was likely what we like to call Map Protection. There are ways of exporting the contents, including the custom models/skins, but we will not tell you how. It is against our rules to attempt to acquire and/or discuss methods of removing Map Protection. Also, if you were to export a model/skin from someone’s map, you better make sure you have written permission from the author of the model/skin. (Not necessarily the author of the map!)

It would be a lot easier to help you if you listed the models that you miss.

For example, "I need a Saruman model, a Frodo model etc.". I know you list some, but ending it with "anything" makes helping you hard, as it makes what you want unclear.

Here's a list of the LotR models in our database, might have missed some. Also, there are several other models that are not made for LotR, but would fit great in a LotR map anyway.

All models in the following list are created by olofmoleman.

• Barad'dur
• Nazgul

Remember to give the author of any model you use credits for his/her work!

Well, so I'm gonna make a list of the models I need. But my map is very big, and if you just link me download mirrors for any kind of model from the lord of the rings, I may use it, because as I said my map is very big and well, I just want good models from the lord of the rings to enrich my map.
But if I had to make a list, is this one:

Dol Amroth Knights (I've got a model of knight with shield, very good, from www.wc3sear.ch, but has not portrait).

Rohirrim knights and spearmen (I've got a model of rohirrim knights from wc3sear.ch but it's not very good, and I am using a blonde mod from the normal bandits as rohirrim spearmen, but it's neither very good).

A model for hobbits (for Merry, he fought in the battle of the pelennor fields)

A model for the black knight from the haradrim.

Models for the easterlings.

A model for the witch kings (once I saw a model for the witch kings that was like a guy with a black cloak riding a black dragon, it was pretty cool but I couldn't find it anywhere).

Human archers or crossbowmen. I'm using a model called "assassin" as Gondor Crossbowman which I downloaded from www.wc3sear.ch, but it hasn't portrait nor icon, and it's not very realist.

A model for Legolas. I'm using a model called Lorien Elf / Legolas from www.wc3sear.ch but once again, it has not portrait nor icon.

Uruk-Hais, Orcs, Olog-Hais, and evil stuff that looks like in the movie, not like the over powered green orks from warcraft (or warhammer, they are the same).


Well that's all, here I tryed to be more specific, but as I said if you have some model of knight, or warrior, or something that is directly related to the lord of the rings, or something that really looks like something that appears in the battle of the pelennor fields, a human knight, a human archer, a human spearman (not a bandit), etc, it'll be very pleased if you put here the link or you are so kind to send me a PM so we can talk about it

Link to the exact model, not just to Wc3sear.ch, else we cannot know what models you are refering to.

man taht does not matter... we can say that the models I need to replace are bad models without portraits, etc, and I know there are good models for the lord of the rings over there, but as I said, I cannot get them because the maps are coded. So ... just if you know about good models, for knights, Legolas (a one with portrait), and so, just tell me. Etc... >_< Just put links of models that you have, or if you have a good one, complete, with portrait, send me a PM, those who wanna help don't need so much specifications.


Just good models, with portrait, about the lord of the rings, that can match more or less with the ones I have requested in the list before.

It's easy to add a portrait yourself by adding a camera in mdl.

Adding a portrait to a model is way simpler than creating a whole new model or finding another one.

all I want is links to download models or someone with good models already existings with portraits etc, so these ppl who can give me those models just post me and i'll be very thx with them...

those models already exist and many ppl have them or thye know where to download them , so its not hard to pass me the links / models... thanks.. gl

Look for adding cameras, that should help you with portrait stuff... I know there is tutorial on wc3search about cameras (Whitehorn or alfred?)

If you say gimme modelz pluz, it is kind of hard to help you. If you want somebody to take 15 minutes compile of list of links for lotr models that you may already have, you must be crazy. Look!
