These damp dungeons suffogate you slowly, day by day the air grows thicker. The massive door of the only exit-way seems to laught at your every puny attempt to break out. The Key is out there, somewhere in the deepest and darkest pits of these huge catacombs, guarded by deadly traps, savage monsters and an ancient evil. the Key is the only change. Either you spill your blood on the mossed corridor floors by spears and swords of horrific beasts or die shivering in the corner in fear and cold. ----Entrapment---- A 4-player map. Each player picks one of the following heroes: Warrior, Rogue or a Mage. Object of the game is to travel as fast as one can to the center of the map where the Key of Escape lies. The journey is not easy, for the near endless corridors and rooms are guarded by various monsters and deadly traps and the passageways are most likely blocked by locked doors. To make things a bit worse, an ancient monster, Beholder, patrols in the location of the key. Luckily different kinds of useful items can be found in numerous chests. Each hero has four different skills with four levels each. Experience can be gained by doing various tasks such as defeating monsters, unlocking locked doors, enchanting items, re-writing scrolls and so forth. If your hero happens to die, he/she will respawn in 30 seconds. Skills: Warrior: Sprint: Temporarily increases movement speed Looting: Enables the hero to get item drops from monsters Combat Mastery: Passive dodge and critical chances Warrior Training: Increases health and health regeneration Rogue: Lock Picking: Unlocks locked doors and chests Disarm Trap: Disarms target trap Hide in Shadows: Tuns the hero invisible for couple of seconds Detect Trap: Enables the hero to see traps and hiding rogues Mage: Spell Book: Gives the hero five different spells Runewriting: Turns a scroll to a different type of scroll Enchanting: Enchant an item with increased statistics Familiar: Summons a helpful familiar The dungeon is somewhat randomised at the start of each game. There is also a sort of cooperative game mode, but it is really not the main mode to play. This is the first version to be released. Playtesting is very much appreciated, since I cannot really test properly, because I can't host games in battle.net. I've played a couple of LAN rounds and the map has quite a nice pace. Ideas, suggestions, bug/mistake reports are also welcome. The map is "optimized" with the Map Optimizer, so it cannot be opened with World Editor, sorry. |

May I suggest lowering the health of unlocked doors a little bit? It takes forever to break through them. *Edit* Nevermind! Just realized you can open them. Nice. Pretty cool so far, I like the idea. |

If anyone can get through them in just a few seconds, the Lock Picks and Lock Picking become obsolete, but suggestion noted. |

I meant the unlocked ones. :X I didn't realize you could right click on them to open them. |

Edit: Ah, heh, yeah. I apparently can't even read. Maybe it's because I've been up for the last 30 hours, but who knows. |
