checking for buffs based off of same spell

If I had 2 spells based off of impale, and needed to make a trigger that checked for the buff of only one of them, would they overlap? (The unit uses the first spell, the trigger runs correctly. Another unit uses the other impale spell, will the tirgger run? I don't want it to.

I think they won't overlap. Should be pretty easy and fast to check.

Edit: Just tested with couple aura buffs, they didn't overlap.
