White Noise We tell you what to eat We tell you what to hear We tell you what to see White Noise You eat as we eat, You hear as we hear, You see as we see, White Noise Why would you talk? Why would you listen? Why would you think? White Noise There isn't anything new to try, There isn't anything new to say Just silence and white noise. |

It didn't seem to have a lot of substance but you pulled it off reasonably well. Definitely a strong link to conformity. It reminded me of the Matrix for some reason... heh. I think it could have been better if it was longer. Right now it's nice to read but it doesn't have any sort of lasting impact on me. There isn't anything to really think about, either. But still, keep writing. This was pretty good. 6/10 (Remember that 5/10 is average) |

I bit to bland and short for my liking. It was nicely written but seemed a bit steriotypical to me. The whole face blending into the crowd of ritualistic every day actions. |

Hm, I agree with john, more substance would've improved it greatly for me as well. A comment on the title: It takes away from the poem. Calling it "The Great" noise makes the title laughable. And I'm pretty sure this wasn't a laughable poem. Unless you're twisted or something... :P |
