Hi guys, I'm looking for help. I want to create a funmap like AOS, Dota ( you have a hero and to win you have to destroy the opponents castle ( main-building). To level the heroes you have to kill units from the opponent. The units walk the same way to the opponets base ) well i hope you can understand this ^^ my english is very cruel. And now to my question : I only can design a map but not create the triggers which are necessary for a funmap. i hope you can help me . Jonas |

So what you are saying is that you're trying to recruit someone to do the triggering? If that's the case, wrong forum. Edit: And if that's the case, tell us why your map would be better than/different from DotA. What sort of unique ideas do you have, if any. Or do you just want to make an identical map, so that you could learn something by making it? |

There is a dota template world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net if that helps you, but the question is do we need another Dota AoS... |

AoSes are probably somewhere down there at the bottom of the list for things to do in your first few maps. The workload, and triggering requirements to make it decent, can be quite excessive. |

Only the base is like the game AOS or Dota I want to create something bigger and more detailed. But if you say no one is interrested well then .. I try my best alone but thanks for nothing -.- |

We're just saying that you seem to have no idea as to what you want to make but an AoS...like DotA but more detailed. Just having this vague idea of a map will not make a fun time for you or anyone who has the remote thought of helping. Your idea is neither original or promising it seems to be like you will stop work on this as soon as you hit a small bump in the road and give it up. A better bet would be to think of a nice easy to make map that can be fun at the same time. You can work on that map with less hastle by yourself or get someone to help you make it better. A good idea is the basis of a good map. |

I will make this map and i have a idea but i only tell the person who wants to help me about it. It`s not necessary to tell people who are not interrested in this project about it. I only need a person who wants to make triggers for me. |

ONLY? Triggers amount to THE most work in a decent AoS (potentially excluding skinning/modelling). Don't expect someone to be willing to do that if it just looks like a DoTA clone attempt. |

OMFG can't u hear what i'm saying? It's not a Dota clone....And now say me one thing why shall i work on it if there is nobody who wants to help me? I'm only asking for a nice person who wants to help me with my project I don't force you to help me ... I only ask if you dont want to help me stop writing in this thread. And sure you are right triggers are most work but what shall I do? I cannot create triggers. |

The funmap is LIKE AoS not the funmap is AoS... i mean only the base of the game idea but not what it's about. Well i don't understand the GUI. |

If you understand english, you will understand GUI. Just try, after getting familiar with different kinds of events and actions you'll see you can make almost anything. |
