I can't seem to edit the collision size of units or buildings. I change the numbers but nothing happens when I test them in the world editor or in-game. Things collide with them exactly the same no matter what type of unit they are. Do I have to turn something on somewhere? I've looked everywhere for someone with the same problem and am posting here as a last resort. If anyone has any ideas, that would be fantastic. I'm sure the answer will make me feel sufficiently stupid. |

Are you setting it larger or smaller? For units, there is a maximum collision size (not sure on the exact value atm) and for buildings there is still a pathing map over which units can't walk. |

I'm just trying to make the collision size for a building match the scaling size so units don't disappear inside when they're standing around the edges. Scaling size for the barracks increased to 1.40. I was trying to discover the appropriate collision size to match when I realized it didn't work. Also there seems to be no effect when I reduce the collision size on the barracks. Also tried it on a footman, also with no effect. |

So, what exactly is collision size good for then? Anyway, thanks. |

Collision size does work on units. Perhaps you weren't changing it enough, or you were going over the game constant maximum. |

I've seen Collision Size having more effect on AOE spells than on pathing |

Collision size does affect units and pathing, it does not affect buildings. Collision size also has a much greater effect on flying units than other types. The maximum collision size is either 64 or 96 by default, i believe you can change that in Gameplay Constants, but i'm not sure if it has any effect as i've never needed a collision size bigger than 64. |

Press P and you get the pathing display shown in World Editor, which should give coloured squares around your terrain and buildings. |
