Made my fancy dancy skin, imported correctly with correct path, and it shows up solid red. It's an Arthas model, with just recoloring and added 2D textures. Any luck? |

Post the path you used, screenshots of what you mean, screenshots of the blp, more details? |

I used Textures\Arthas.blp (it wouldn't have changed at all if I didn't get the path right.) It ends up having him partially invisible, and partially solid red (the player color.) I imagine it's something to do with alpha, but I don't know what that is. I'm using PSP9, XNView, Infraview, and Image Extractor II, those are my resources. |

http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthre...t=18757&page=7 That is what happens. And nobody actually showed a clear solution as to how to fix it. At least not that I could see. No PSP9 either. :( |

Yes that has most likely to do with the alpha channel, you should probably take a look at it. |

I wish I knew how to. All of my skins end up doing this to some degree. I'm using PSP9. Not only do I hardly know what alpha is, but I don't know how to use it either on PSP9. |

I looked at the alpha editting in the graveyard and did that but it didn't fix my problem. I have no clue what to do with the alpha channel. So I just blanked it out once, and another time I got rid of the alpha channel completely. I knew that probably won't help but whatever. Then I thought about blacking it out but I was getting bored of trying by then. Attached are screenshots of a before-after, 'before' being a normal Marine skin, and 'after' being my blue marine gone teamcolor blue(without alpha channel shading or whatever it's called) with a few areas of good looking blue armor. The way i want the marine to look like is a marine of shaded teamcolor blue, but when it's on any team. I use Photoshop CS2. |

For alpha channels in PS, you need to save the format as bmp not TGA. If you want alpha with TGA you will have to erase the portions of the skin where you want it. |
