i just started modeling yesterday...thought id finally get into it and after reading the box modeling tutorial here on this site and just kinda some guess work and such i have come up with this body with no head... it has no armor/cloths yet and im wondering...what is something that wont be super difficult for me to make this guy into? some things im doing wrong etc...just some start things.(btw i dont know if this is the correct thread...i debated between this and modelling and animation, please move if i was incorrect)

target weld is a vertex tool. If you are in your ditable mesh or poly mode, you select vertex, and one of the vertex modify tools is target weld.

WHat it does is weld two vertextes that are on the same line together, reducing your poly count in the end. This tool is the tool i personally use most, it allows you to go back and de-detail your work, wich is nice. ALways make sure you have no unescesary details, and an equal poly-flow (meaning that polygons should be roughly the same size)

target weld = ctrl+shitf+w (keyboard shortcut)

show us a wireframe please (take a screenshot from the perspective viewport with edged faces turned on (press F4)), this model looks messy.

hmm im thinking of just stopping making him..im better at making weapons..but anyway..how do i take a screenshot of perspective view..i said take snapshot but it didnt make one
