Invisible Water

Ok, so we've got invisible terrain tiles... but, the next question would be - is it feasable to have invisible water, along with it?

Aka: I'd like to do the whole "airship" type of thing... with ships that *don't* fly, and can't wander over top of the various floating islands/whatnot - but can move between them.

In my initial (very quick testing) testing, it appears that replacing some of the 45 (ugh) texture frames tends to crash WorldEdit randomly (ReplaceableTextures\Water\A_Water00.blp through ReplaceableTextures\Water\A_Water44.blp) - not to mention I'll probably have to deal with the waves as well...

maybe there's a way to "pretend" that there's water in between these floating islands? (air-pathing blockers?)

Edit: I answered my own question (using air-pathing blockers). Not to mention going this route lets me do fun things like having a lake on an island. However I'd still be interested to know it it's at all possible to make water/waves invisible.

Found half of a solution, possibly:

Tinting the water black (Map Options), and making sure that the water is over your transparent tile does the trick - though it darkens the sky behind it. The waves still show up, as well. Note this only works for shallow water...

Edit: Lol, waves can be turned off under Map Options as well... And using some white fog does a good job of brightening up the skybox.
