Individual Intro for 8 players

Hi there,

to get the final touch on my map, I'm going to create an intro with 2-3 different camera setups per player (8 players) to introduce the player in my gaming system, like show each player his base from above and how to use the spirit for mass control, and explain the building functions a bit, so a novice will quickly grasp the idea behind it, you know.

My concerns are: desyncs in multiplayer, because I'm grabbing each player's camera setup, storing it, and give each player an new camera setup, which portrays his starting buildings from different angles, and then restore the original camera setup. I don't know whether that'll desync, but I fear it will in some way.

If anyone has had some experience with multiple intros in multiplayer games, please give me some feedback on where to be careful and how to deal with problems.

seperate cameras for different player's shouldn't desync, since in-game, players never have their cameras at the same position, but move them around freely.

OK, sounds good. I'll then proceed as planned - thanks for confirming and taking my concerns :)
