What would be the best set of conditions to make it so that the trigger will only fire if the time of day is any time except 18.00? I tried using less then 17.99 and greater than 18.01 but nohting happened at all, ever.

EDIT: found a possible solution, would this work?
Trigger:
((In-game time of day) Greater than 18.00) or ((In-game time of day) Less than 18.00)

Yes that should work.

It did, but the rest didn't. :p Oh well. I figured out a much better (and easier) way to accomplish what I wanted, (Thank you Dark Deeds 6)

O, BTW, you could just have:

Trigger:
(In-game time of day) Not equal to 18.00)

lol didn't think of that... Still, like I said I found a better way to do it, by making a unit called "It must be Night-Time" and making it a tech requirement in the spell, it works fine (making the unit w/ Aloc and stuff)

Yea, i use that method quite alot.
It can be very effective and look normal.
Like the: Requires: Level 5, can be changed that way, things like: Requires: Night.
Its great, and a cool thing to use.

And for once I thought of it myself! lol... Actually it was inspired by the game Dark Deeds 6 (It has to be one of the most advanced games on Bnet) I don't know if it uses JASS or not, but it's a great game, and it inspired my werewolf spell which this trigger is used in. And some good news, I just finished the werewolf spell! By using the stated method, I cut down the spell's triggers from 7 to 2...lol (not including the trigger turn on/off triggers)

Dark Deeds is a great game, its very advance, it uses ALOT of jass in my opinion. And it uses alot of the Requirments, such as: You can only have 1 Mill. etc etc.

Dark Deeds is fun, advanced and 1 of the best games on B.net.

Amen to that... Do you know how the trigger for choosing who the evil one is works? Becuase me and 2 of my friends played 15 games of it in a row (its summer, it was raining...) and my one friend was evil 13 times IN A ROW!! >< I thought It may have been a random integer roll (if i> 50, blah) I do love Dark Deeds, and I've been thinking of opening it to look at some of it's inner workings. But yes, it's an advanced map that looks pretty damn professional. I;ve seen some maps that have alot of great features but they're done pathetically, like some hobo just walked in and made the map. Hopefully my map will turn out well (I'm gonna have to make it protected... My friends found a version of a map we like, I hadn't seen it but they said all the units were invulnerable...) Wow we're off topic here..

Yes, we are, we should probally move to the offtopic forum.
Anyhow, im sure the random evil is just a random int, i used to think it got a random letter(by random int 1 - 26) then another random int, and see who has the closest letter of that type to the random int. Its complicated, and i doubt it now i think about it. But it could be possible.
I would post the .j to see, but then again, i would get flamed and its against rules.

EDIT: I went through the .j, and theres no point in trying to find out how, its had Vex's optimizer used on it, ah well it was worth a try. Eek, 25727 lines, thats big =/
