Hello Guys, 2.8 will feature the following: -Revamped and Redone Terrain -Balance Changes -Bug Fixes -A get host function so host can type game modes, not red. -New Game Mode replacing Guardian (Haven't determined yet) I haven't talked to Pheonix in a few days, so I don't know the progress he is at. To be on the safe side, I am going to say this version will be released between 1-2 weeks from now. |

but his daytime spell should buff movespeed cuz... its cool otherwise but as soon as naga figure out the spell its useless cuz they just reveal when u stop for a second |

ya, at night hes good (if u manage to fade BEFORE being netted, or they dont have immolation cloak and you cast disruption on them b4 being hit) but if hes completely useless during day then hes completely useless period, except as a rescuer at night, and elemental is better for that |

I've found Murloc is quite effective during both day and night. He just requires different play styles during each period. During the day he's much better at hiding away, at night he can come out to play. |

hmnn avoid such titles like 2.8 it is all right when you count that it is in a subforum of tropical tag, but in the RSS feed for example it just says 2.8 and no more information |

I know you hate drastic changes, but i must say i dislike the whole idea of having gamemodes in maps. Spellcraft got ruined with all these crappy modes (gladiator should've been the only one imo), Elimination only need one (assault) etc. And i really think you should make ONE fun gamemode that does not require anyone to vote or choose. No idea why im saying this, i allready know your not gonna do it :) |

I hear you. The reason behind Short Mode was to make the game more appealing to impatient pubbies. Of course I would like to modify the original game to make it more popular, but I dunno where to start. Coin mode is just there for kicks, I really don't mind removing it. Basically, if we can brainstorm how to make the normal game more appealing to the masses (FOR NAGA PLAYERS) then I see no reason for short mode. The problem is that even though Naga is fun and all of them have ownage spells, most people just don't have the patience for the beginning of the game, where it is somewhat slow. |

I don't see any reason why the modes in Tropical Tag should be removed. Different modes is one of the things that seperates Tropical Tag from the rest of the tag games. You don't see coin mode in any other map, and that makes Tropical Tag more unique. |
