H2 2219 "Paladin"

I'm currently working on a comic project thing that's gonna eat all my summer vacation, hopefully i'll learn one thing or two during the process. When not working on it, I draw crappy comissions such as the picture below, made for an online browser-based mech game, not a cool one though, actually it kinda sucks. Mostly because the guys creating it suck.

The hip area looks kind of asymmetrical... but nice work.

it's legs look lanky.

I love the looks, especially texture on its armor, but I hate the design.

I can't get a good sense of the physicality of the robot. It doesn't look 3d, there isn't a real sense of volume. The detailing is good but you should make sure your rendering is correct first.
