Difference between missile types

Can someone explain the differences between. Missile, Missile Line, Missile Bounce and Missile Splash?

Missile is the basic one, eg archer.

Missile bounce can bounce, eg huntress.

Missile line can hit multiple targets in a line, eg glaive thrower.

Missile splash can, suprisingly, have splash.

Line and Splash are also incompatable with most orb and\or arrow effects, Bounce is incompatable with some, but works with more than Line and Splash.

Missile Line is actually used in the Gryphon Rider, Glaive Throwers use Artillery Line.
