SUBJECT: FROG ah the frog the most poorly used fish in the game. Well I'm here to help aleviate that problem. >>>CAMOFLAGE<<< the frogs cloak ability can be useful but it is overused far too much. cloaking has a 2.5 second casting delay and when used slows your movement speed to 175. What does this mean? it means you shouldnt be running around with cloak on the entire time. There are only a few times when cloak should be used. One: when you're in your base, being cloaked can make it a lot more difficult to hook you, or track you to the exit. you can simply walk out of your basewhile cloaked and then uncloak and run for it. (after they cant see you anymore) Two: when the naga are chasing you and you've just lost them it might be a good idea to cloak and change directions. Again be watchful of reveals and flares. >>>LEAP<<< YAY leap! The whole reason I like the frog. Naga coming at your base from all exits? Leap out the side while invis, move far enough away that they cant see you, uncamoflage and run to make a new base. this strategy alone is enough to keep the frog going for ages. >>>SENTRY TOWERS<<< Like any good running fish, the frog needs sentry towers at the very least around his base so he knows where he can leap to and escape from. He can also uses them around the map to give him all around sight of whats going on. ((((((((((((How to catch a frog)))))))))))))))))) CAMOFLAGE: well having a hero with reveal sure helps, but if you don't have that make sure all the naga have flares and sentry wards. (naga without reveal should always have flares anyway) Have one or two naga set up wards around the middle, while another places a ward when there is a suspected cloaked frog around. use flares to try and see him as well, but the cd on that makes it difficult to chase them with it. LEAP: countering leap is simple. have a naga at likely leaping spots to catch him when he leaps. as leaping causing the frog to be visable for a second. once again try to use flares reveal or wards to keep track of his position so you know where he is leaping from and can catch him in the act. Follow these instructions and those frogs shouldnt stand a chance. *frog exploits* one thing a lot of newbie frogs like to do is hide in areas the naga cant get to, such as in between trees or up up inacessable cliffs. when you find these pests. keep tabs on them with reveal, have someone get a fish hook (or a sea giant with spear throw) and take that abusing newbie frog out. PS. btw kara you really should add pathing blockers in those areas so the frogs cant do that. |

Fixing up the terrain so that such an abuse is not possible is an ongoing issue with me and something im working on. |
