The Turret ability

Hi guys!

I just found the Turret ability under the Humans and testing it a bit, but couldn't find out what it did, do any of you guys got a clue to what this might do?

Wild guess leades me to believe it is the one used by the seam tank.

I am 80% sure it is one of the beta leftover abilities.
