AOE dmg upon death ?

this doesnt seem to work at all.
nothing im missing is there ?

the unit blows up, but others around it arent damaged

does work, check the shredder hero from warchasers=if it dies, it deals damage to the enemy

i remembered him, but apparently it wont hurt all units. i wanted it to hurt everything, even ally.
