Yep, I intend to start a project on Pirates of the Carribean. It will be a campaign and will be about the storyline of the first of the two movies. Starting off at where Jack first steps onto the docks of Port Royal it will lead on to the end. Your character will also change during the game due to the scene. Such as after Wil hits Jack with the paddle you will be Wil. I will be doing some terraining and have the script. I need modelers, some more terrainers, skinners, and triggerers. Please tell me what you wish to do. -Skins- -Models- -Triggers- -Terrain- Gumpas |

We don't want to do anything right now. We don't know your skills and don't want to make all job for you. You should post screenshots of your current work so we know who are we helping. Skinners, Terrainers, Modelers, Triggerers - that makes whole map. And who are you in there? Lead Designer? |

There are sufficient models and skins available to more than do this for yourself. If you don't change your mind in a week, then post your progress and people will be more interested and maybe help you. This site simply doesn't have modders jumping at the chance to work for projectes that are vaguely described in 4 lines of text. |

Sorry for double post. I figured out how to fix it. And i have two WIP screens. They are not very good yet because i havnt really added detail to background and such. And also I havnt finished the village yet but am getting there. I know the wooden plank is a spear because its all i could work with for now. |

Looks like your average Bnet map, nothing special. |

Umm... this is a campaign... not for B.net .................................................................................................... ................................ FADE IN: EXT. CARIBBEAN SEA - DAY A gray, impenetrable wall of fog. From somewhere comes the FAINT SOUND of a LITTLE GIRL'S VOICE, singing, slow tempo, almost under her breath: YOUNG ELIZABETH (O.S.) Yo, ho, yo, ho, a pirate's life for me. Yo, ho, yo, ho, it's a pirate's life for me ... Suddenly a massive SHIP emerges from the grey, the Winged Victory maidenhead looming. It's a British dreadnought, the H.M.S. Dauntless. Formidable, frightening, twenty-five gun ports on the side, and rail guns to boot. EXT. H.M.S. DAUNTLESS - FORECASTLE - DAY ELIZABETH SWANN, strawberry blonde hair, stands at the bow rail, gazing at the sea, still singing -- ELIZABETH ... drink up me hearties, yo, ho ... JOSHAMEE GIBBS, who was born old, skin a dark leather, clutches her shoulder, startling her. GIBBS (sotto) Quiet, missy! Cursed pirates sail these waters. You want to call 'em down on us? Elizabeth stares wide-eyed at him. NORRINGTON Mr. Gibbs. NORRINGTON, a dashing young man, Royal Navy to the core, glares sternly at Gibbs. Standing beside him is GOVERNOR WEATHERBY SWANN, a man of obvious high station, brass buttons on his thick blue jacket. He is Elizabeth's father. NORRINGTON (CONT'D) That will do. GIBBS She was singing about pirates. Bad luck to sing about pirates, with us mired in this unnatural fog -- mark my words. NORRINGTON Consider them marked. On your way. GIBBS 'Aye, Lieutenant. (as he moves off) Bad luck to have a woman on board, too. Even a mini'ture one. He returns to his deck-swabbing duties, surreptitiously takes a quick swig from a flask. .................................................................................................... .... yeah i know about that site, alot of the skins i needed are down, and some models too. |

A) Don't make campaigns based on proffesional movies. B) Don't make threads requesting help unless you've got somthing original to show. |

Update. Ive almost finished the first map. Village is done. The castle looking part of Port Royal is in its final stages, finished Governers Mansion, and various things such as the rocks Elizabeth almost hits when she falls, and the "Pirates ye be warned." I still have to complete the market part of the town, the Docks which look completely horrible... does anybody know how to make units stand on the Pier doodad? -Updated Castle Barricade of Port Royal (added Cannons) -3 Views of it. -Village (with ugly docks seen in background) -Governers Mansion. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Im not being mean or something, Im just stating the fact that that terrain is very basic and could be made much better. And I believe that Tim was just suggesting, not telling you off. |
