(possible Darklord101) Concept Art, Skinner: Darklord101 Background: The Return is a world that has been in development for soon one year. Started as an idea for a simple cinematic created solie by me. Later on the idea grew and I got Player on my team who got Warnicro on terraining. TGN joined the flow and now we are finishing the cinematic. Here is the trailer though an unvigilant eye would say it speaks of nothing of what the main cinematics goal is. But every camera view, I personally made sure speaks of what is going to happen, who is in it and the world it self. Use your imagination and speculate and maybe you'll be right or maybe you'll be wrong. The Return will be an one hour cinematic filled with eye candy battles and deep detailed scripted dialogs. The Trailer was terrained beautifuly by Warnicro and down bellow you'll find some Screenshots from the trailer. There are also an Alpha picture of the real thing as well as some concepts, there are more concepts coming so look forward to that. There is a book that will be released very soon that I have been writing. This book is of course free for everyone to download and it has concept art done by a professional paid artworker (not even player has seen them yet :P) The book is called War Of Argos and speaks of the past before The Return. I've decided to publish it before The Return is done. Feel free to visit our project thread and leave a note. hmmm, well I watched it. Most of it just seemed to be advertising the credits. It showed a few clips of terrain etc. But no form of giving a hint of some action or a bit of story or anything? Overal I wasnt that impressed :-( |

Just accept/respect his opinion ;) It's true there isnt really that much to see yet. I wouldve been better to make the trailer like.. 2 days before actual release too. Seeing its a hosted project I will approve it, normally trailers like this shouldnt be accepted. You guys better hurry on making something for the return tho. And once you have something to show just change this post, so we'll have everything of the return in 1 thread. |

Very nice to see this up, on the contrary to most people I got the picture of the trailer =), the project is coming along, and It was good to see my own (40 hours) of terrain again =). Lets hope I can even do better in the real project. |

Nice! So... when can we expect the actual cinematic to come out? Trailor didn't really give out much story... just some nice terrain and slow moving cameras =P |
